Cooper-General Enhances Engineering, Operations and Product Portfolio

Miami, Florida -- February 28, 2005 – Cooper-General Corporation is pleased to announce several important transactions strengthening its critical communications business.
In February, 2005, Cooper-General Corporation and M/A-COM Inc. executed an agreement to license intellectual property rights for the automatic location and computer aided dispatch of large mobile fleets. Cooper-General will assume ongoing development of the Fleet-Trak product line, and will continue to support M/A-COM’s customer base.
Joining Cooper-General as partners are Daniel Deveson and Tino Patallo. Mr. Deveson brings over twenty years of communications system design and deployment experience, and has integrated public safety, transit and utility systems around the world. Mr. Patallo brings a solid operations background in communications and finance.
Co-incident with these agreements, Cooper-General has acquired staffing and technical resources of M/A-COM’s operations in Miami, and along with their existing and new engineering resources, Cooper-General is now positioned to excel in its markets and expand its operations significantly.
